Clarice - 3 - Border Collie - Straight
Ex-Police Dog
Southern accent
While an unusual breed for a police dog, Claire proved herself useful to her handler, John. Criminals tended to underestimate her due to her looks and size until it was too late. When John died in the line of fire, Claire found herself lost, without orders to follow or people to help. She eventually found the Decus Pack, and has been with them ever since. Claire is fiercely loyal to her pack, and protective of it's members.
Friends Claire is very quiet when meeting someone new, and it would take her awhile to warm up to someone. she had kind of a rough time and believes that everyone close to her dies. So she’s put up walls and keeps people at arms length. If you do mange to break down her walls, you'll have a supportive and protective friend. She can be work obsessed to the point of not taking care of herself, so she needs someone to pull her back to the present and have her back.
Enemies Being a part of the Decus Pack, Claire has enemies. She hates liars and backstabbers, and she stands up if someone is getting bullied. And she'll probably have the abuser on their back in seconds.
Lovers See friends. She'd have to know a person well before she lets any romantic feeling show. And there is always the chance she could die on the job. She doesn't want anyone to have to endure that kind of heartbreak.
Anna | 3 | Saluki | Killer | Straight
Ex-Show Dog
East European accent
Anna was born in Denmark to a championship, a pure bred. When she was old enough, she followed in the footsteps of her siblings before her and was sold as a show dog. She was bought by a young couple and shipped to America. Things were going well enough, until one night when she was a year and a half old. A greyhound in the Hound group insulted her immensely while waiting outside the ring. Later that same night, Anna lifted the latch with her nose and and stepped inside, killing him quickly. She discovered she liked the taste of the greyhound’s blood and cautiously tasted more. She was found back in her own kennel the next morning, flecks of blood on her teeth and muzzle. The ring was in an uproar. The owner of the greyhound wanted Anna to to be put down, but her owners said they would “take care of it.” They dumped a few miles away from the building and never looked back.
Anna wandered for months, perfecting her craft. She didn’t kill impulsively, only the ones who were cruel or unseemly to her. She eventually came to Washington, where she was rescued by a collector who lived there. He was entranced by her unusual beauty. Like the butterflies pinned in boxes on his wall, the man took good care of her, but almost never touched her or showed love. She was on display like a living statue made of marble. It was a lonely existence and Anna wanted more then once to leave, but she was afraid she’d break the poor man’s heart. She stayed, his ever faithful china doll with a secret. Then he died of old age. Free of her mental chain, Anna wanders once more around the city, a hungry and thin ghost.
Friends:
Friends are something that comes easily to Anna. Anyone who is courteous to her and she'll respond with courtesy back. However, she has no qualms about disposing of or abandoning them when they are no longer useful, but there are exceptions, as in she starts to develop feelings of friendship toward said person. Anna is extremely protective, and once you have her on your side, you’ll have a loyal and viscous(toward your enemies) ally.
Enemies:
Anyone who is stupid enough to be rude or cruel to her. And if you're either of those things to anyone else, be warned. You might end up on her list.
Lovers:
Despite the fact that many have her pegged as a "pure psychopath" Anna is capable of love and feelings. Albeit, she might mess with them mentally, but a bond might form. She would love the person in her own, odd way. She would to loyal and protective until death.
