Maximum, two, usually the alpha and his mate. Their words are law.
The Heir of the Pack, usually one of the Alpha pair's pups, but can be chosen from without as well.
Maximum, two. Does not need to be a mated pair. They are the second-in-commands, and take charge when the Alphas are indisposed.
Maximum, one. Beta-in-training. Third in command. They take charge when both the Alphas and Betas are indisposed.
The elite forces. Secretive and mysterious, it is a high honour to be invited to join. They are the crème de la crème, and are usually on dispatched in matters of high urgency and great importance.
These are the warriors and defenders of the Pack. When push comes to shove, the Warriors will be sent out to do battle, led by the General.
No one truly knows for certain who they are. They operate in utmost secrecy. There are two branches: Scouts and Spies. Scouts keep watch over the Pack's terrain, often staying away from the main Den for moons at a time, ensuring that the territory is secure. Spies are sent to other packs and locations to mingle, feeding the Alphas information about the currents outside the Pack.
They are the hunters and gatherers, often doing a mixture of both duties. They ensure that the Pack has enough to eat, as well as plan the stores for the winter or famines.
They are the diplomats of the Pack. The Alphas send them out to negotiate treaties and agreements, often in lieu of themselves, to negotiate on their behalf.
They are the healers of the Pack, led by the Shaman. They are usually compassionate creatures, with a deep understanding of various herbs and injuries. They are in charge of replenishing and maintaining the medical supplies. Furthermore, the Shaman is also in charge of interpreting signs and prophecies for the Alphas.
These are those who have grown old enough to decide upon a duty in the pack. Having stated their choices, each will be apprenticed to one of the wolves within their chosen Guild. Pairing of apprentices to their mentors is left to the Guild Leaders.
These are the young pups in the Pack, too young to take up duties. They are generally cared for by all the Mothers in the Pack, who will also teach them the basics while they are growing.
These are lowest-ranking wolves in the Pack. They have little say, and often, their opinions are easily dismissed. This position is usually given as punishment. Wolves will have to earn their way back up the ranks.
The offenders are guarded by a Warden. Captives are wolves who have been captured as hostages, and brought back to Pack Land. Banished are those who have committed unforgivable crimes, such as treason. They will no long be welcome on Pack Lands, and Pack members are expected to warn them off. Wanted are those who have escaped, before facing punishment from the Alphas for their crimes. Warriors are usually sent to track them down and bring them back to see that justice is served.

Midnight: no people join sites and then life happens and they disapear and it is like super annoying.....even in my rules I say do not join if you don't got time,but people join make a profile and then disapear and it's like"why....why do you even bother breaking my
