Paws walked down the concrete stairs and into the subways. The tunnels ran on beyond the station, though she didn't follow them. She was not dumb, or well...stupid. Epic knew if she went in there, she might die. White paws tread carefully past wandering hands of children awaiting their trains. Audits flickered unwelcomingly as she curled her lip. It took everything she had not to bite the fingers off of a child who managed to touch her.
Epic was not used to the tunnels, and she didn't like people. All she wanted was a dark place to nap, away from here. Skie laughed mechanically in her skull as she spoke.
twinkle twinkle little star, I wonder how tasty these kids are.
Epic rolled her bi colored eyes as she walked around a corner. Finding a open bench, she hopped onto it, glad the kids were leaving her be, for now. @allie

A lot of the time Subways were tricky business and needed to be avoided, but since Trick had found himself to be bored, he decided to go against that annoying voice in his head that told him not to go. Tonight was the night to rebel, make memories, and put his life in danger. While he tended to not play with risky business, the male couldn't deny his need for a good rush of adrenaline every once in a while. And the subway was the perfect place to do that. If he were talking to a young pup or even a new dog to the city, he would advise against coming here. There weren't really any benefits to being here anyway. The only food was in trash cans that people generally got offended at if you were to try digging through them for your supper. While there were those few weird canines that actually desired to be around humans, most did not so they would end up having to put up with grabby people. Even on the off-chance you got lucky enough to find a kind soul who would feed you a bit of their lunch, there was no guarantee the food would even be safe for you to eat. There were plenty of things out there humans could consume while canines could not. Shaking himself from those thoughts, Trick took the steps down, gradually submerging himself deeper within the cold, artificially-lit tunnels. As he stepped down, he could feel the air grow colder, nipping softly at his skin. They were nothing but love bites to him, though. While he enjoyed the sun every so often: more often than not he preferred cooler temperatures to the warmer ones. Glancing around the floor he had just entered, Trick saw nothing but people. Crowds of people were standing, all at different levels of anxiety to get where they were going. One woman was chatting on her cell phone, a child in hand, while her foot tapped lightly on the floor. Clearly she wasn't in much of a hurry. Trick's eyes quickly landed on a large man, though, who was well past everyone else in the anxiety department. He kept glancing at his wrist where something black and round was strapped to him and his feet and hands couldn't stay still. He was dressed nice in a black suit with a hat and a pair of glasses balancing nicely on the bridge of his nose. At his feet sat a black box the humans liked to refer to as a "brief case". Whatever that meant. Trick decided the man's antics was boring him, so he moved on. Over on the bench on the far wall were two girls who looked to be around 5 and 6. Both of them looked exactly alike, though. They were dressed different and one had her hair down in long, bouncy waves while the other had her hair in a long ponytail, but their face and expressions matched. Even their arms and legs looked to be the same. He'd never seen such a strange thing, but he was sure it was possible. What with that weird "we only birth one child" thing those female humans had going. At least he knew now those women could get off their high horses and do what they were made to do: birth children. Not child. After a moment of thinking, Trick's hesitation to saying hello to the girls won over him. Even though they were looking at him like they wanted to greet him, their mother had a sour expression on her face which told the male it wasn't the best idea. Mothers were vicious when protecting their young: he didn't want to get in the middle of that. He looked around some more and, to his surprise, his eyes fell on a fellow canine. It looked to be a female with a very strong, athletic build. Her head was long and angular, her jowls dainty and her ears stood as tall as the Eiffel Tower. Her body was strong and detailed with plush fur: long, lovely legs with a muscular backside and a long, luscious tail to seal the deal. Her body was a simple ivory white and her ears were bi-colored: one a bright blue while the other a not-as-bright brown. She was actually quite pretty considering how muscular she was clearly bred to look. While Trick generally went for the weaker girls that needed protection, she was good enough for him. Trick slicked his ears back, pressing them to his head as he decided to attempt approaching her. Ladies weren't his strong suit, so all he had to do was think of her as a male. It wasn't like it would have been hard, but still she had those feminine features that couldn't be ignored. He stalked toward her, his head low in a submissive manner. His tail hung straight behind him and, as he neared her, he lifted his head slightly. He wasn't going to cower to her, but he wasn't going to try to dominate a mentally strong female, either. "Funny seeing you here," he spoke, pausing briefly before continuing on, "I thought I was the only one who decided to tempt fate. What are you doing down here, any way?" So far so good. All he had to do was hold it together long enough to not make a fool out of himself. Alarice

White audits flickered forward as pawsteps were heard approaching her. Opening her eyes, she caught sight of a tan male standing in front of her. His lyrics reached her audits and she just stared. Was he not good at seeing when a dog wanted to be left alone? Epic let Skie slip into control. She wasn't good with males. Groaning, she snorted and jumped off the bench to come nose to nose with the irritating brute.
I was trying to get some sleep, but if it ain't humans messing with me, its dogs like you. I don't listen to fate, I am usually one to seal anothers.
Skie gave a sick smirk as she circled the male like prey. He was dumb for trying to come up and befriend her. Curling her lip, she sniffed the air and pinned her audits. She waved her banner lazily as she stopped her circling at his front.
You are an example of a dumb dog.
Her lyrics were dark, and threatening as she sneered at him
