character name: Sabine
age: 3
breed: Hungarian Mudi x Grey Wolf
personality:
Sabine is quite a loyal little female, obviouly despite being on the smaller side she makes up for it with her personality. Generally easy going until you get to the fundamentals. She strongly believes that the way society is at present, is not how it is meant to be. Sabine thinks that humans and all their contraptions are on the way out. They've had their chance as the dominant species and they ruined everything. She believes that canines would be better suited at the top and that rules need to be enforced immediately.
She is not quick to judge and often sits at the back of pack meetings whilst the louder, more obnoxious members have their say first. Patient and cool headed the majority of the time, she greets transient canines with a smile, enemies with a snarl and the ones whom follow the humans...with disdain. Sabine can be blunt at times, even abrasive when insulted or angered, but she usually saves the blood shed for the wolves that will enjoy it more.
Though calm, if her pack or a canine she has befriended is threatened, she will fight. She is not a coward and will play to her strengths, she is rumored to have a thing for chomping down on the paws of enemies if they get to close. She will debilitate and maim if necessary and thinks that though force is usually applied when new rules are announced, canines soon learn to obey rather than face the consequences.
audition post:
The dark dame yawned, raspberry pink and ivory flashing for a moment before she stretched lazily. Sabine was never one to wake late and preferred to be up before dawn. After all, rats and other such morsels were asleep by the time others usually woke. Her coal hued banner waved from side to side as she scented for a morning meal, small paws picking up the pace as she caught onto an appetizing scent. Her ears were on a swivel as she searched and worked her way through pack lands in order to hunt down her sustenance.
Dawn crept up over the horizon just as she caught up to her quarry. Sabine's jaws snapped shut and the rat made a squeak before she did what was necessary. She loped back, keeping to side alleys to avoid any humans that were stupid enough to want to tangle with her. She wanted to use her energy for something else, human hunting could be done later when she was with the pack.
The little beast had never really wanted to leave her home, sure the humans were fools to want to try and bend canines to their will...but the wilier dogs, wolves and whatever else had woken up. Those whom followed the humans rules were no better than the humans themselves. The air used to be thick with smog and white noise. That was another reason she got up so early, because her world was truly quiet for those brief beautiful moments. However as she returned home she realised that though there was less white noise there was more danger. The humans had bio-engi-...whatever dogs to track them down. Well, that just made everything that much harder. The cross breed sighed before yawning and waiting for everyone else's tummies to start grumbling.
What will they bring to the pack?: Sabine, despite her darker side is quite level headed until challenged. She refuses to just jump into anything without looking at it from all the angles, refusing to be rash and risk unnecessary loss of life to her pack mates. Will enforce the pack rules without fail and her loyalty is without question.

i'm the devil in disguise [Not sure if this is over, but just trying my luck :3 And um, sorry in advance for the super long posts ><] Character Name: PhantasmAge: 5 yearsBreed: Arctic WolfPersonality:Phantasm is an inquisitive creature. Some might call him controlling, but the brute wants to know everything - everything that's going on around him, why the political currents are changing thusly, what makes you tick - so he can exploit you fully. And once he sets his mind to a task - there is nothing in the world that can stop him, except death. So if he's coming after you, pray hard, and hide.
The wolf is often, hostile. He trusts no one - and for good reason. Precious few approach him with no ulterior motives in mind. He is less than friendly to strangers, unless, of course, it suits his purposes. He cares nothing for others' feelings; only what they can offer him, hence coming across as callous and cold. He is, however, quite fond of sarcasm, as well as those who are able to play The Game.
Phantasm is a skilled liar. He easily deceives people, and likes to manipulate both people and events to suit his devices. He uses everything in his arsenal, including his good looks and charm, to seduce others to his cause. He is predatory, ambitious, and extremely possessive over those he sees as 'his'. He can be quite the player, never giving his heart out to any one.
He is calm and collected, his smooth facade never wavering for others to peek at the simmering turmoil beneath.
Summary: Inquisitive | Obsessive | Determined | Hostile | Calculating | Manipulative | Ambitious | Predatory | Possessive | Volatile | Confident | Sensual Audition post:The ghostly wolf prowled into the darkened forest, his pale bodice a homing beacon in the dark. Like a ghost, a specter, Phantasm moved on, deeper and further into the all-consuming darkness. He tread lightly within this unfriendly woods, dark, burgundy eyes gleaming like twin rubies set within his aristocratic face.
He left no tracks, silent as a specter was he. Quieter than the two-legs ever had been, and more noiseless than the average canine could ever hope to be. All one would glean of his passing, was his unearthly passage through the rustling trees, bloodless pelt flitting through the forest, weaving around bushes and shrubs, side-stepping rabbit holes and badger dens as though he had done this a thousand times before.
"What news?"
The sudden rasp of his voice sounded like a human's gunshot in the hushed atmosphere. At first glance, one would have thought the demon had finally shown the madness many others had always suspecting of lingering, deep within his psyche. Phantasm slunk on, his burgundy eyes intent upon a distant spot in the gloom, his paws drumming a ghostly rhythm upon the leaf-strewn ground.
Another wolf, this one black as the proverbial night, melted from the depths of the forest, as though waiting for his cue. He moved closer, dipping his head in a mark of respect to the larger brute, before walking along, always mindful to be a step behind Phantasm.
It was as though the demon incarnate had not noticed him. For indeed, neither his gaze nor the death beat of his paws wavered. But an ear flicked, acknowledging the other.
With something approaching profound relief, the black wolf trotted a little faster, catching up to Phantasm, his words quick and hushed. Golden wolf eyes darted about nervously, as though expecting unmentionable horrors to slink out of the surrounding darkness, rushing at them with bared teeth and foaming jaws.
"It is as you have said, Alpha. The Decus have planned an offensive against us. They're planning to strike first, this time."
The large wolf half-closed his unnerving eyes, but otherwise, gave no reaction to this piece of news. He ignored the nervous blabbing of the other, letting his words bounce ineffectively off his ears, schemes and plots forming before his very eyes, darkness swirling among them all. With this piece of news... a thousand more paths opened up before his feet, spiraling into the fogginess of the undetermined future. And yet, hundreds of others disappeared with a blink of those eyes.
"Well done," Phantasm hissed, his voice causing the other lupine to fall silent instantly. He lowered his head in nervous deference, flattening his ears in submission.
"I live to please, Alpha," he responded, subdued.
"Continue your work. Relay their plans to me. You will be well-rewarded for your efforts," the deathly wolf mentioned absently, already lost within schemes and machinations, plans within plans, counter plans and new paths to take.
He never stopped the steady drumbeat of his paws, nor responded to the stuttered exclamation of gratitude from the black wolf. Eyes still fixed upon the uncertain future, he allowed himself to melt into the encompassing blackness, fading away into the gloom, leaving no trace that he was ever there.
Nothing, except for his musky scent, that would soon wane, with the low rumbling of thunder heralding the arrival of a storm.
Behind him, the forest rustled, the darkness shifting, the world awash in the scent of change.
[575 words] What will they bring to the pack?:"The world as it is, is intolerable.
For too long, humans have had jurisdiction and complete control over all canines in this city. And it hardly stops there. Stories of abuse, of poaching, of our brothers, or sisters, dying due to some measly human, are all too common nowadays. How many of you have lost friends, family, to those wretched two-legged beasts?
Ah, most of you, I imagine.
For those who have not... let me place this into context for you. Just so that everyone is on the same side of the river for now, shall we?
An uncollared canine walks upon the human streets. He is clean, his pelt shiny - he has just bathed in the river beside the forest. He is here to visit his sisters, his mother. The aforementioned dog is excited, bright eyes, wagging tail, tongue lolling... He has not seen them for moons, you see. Can you now imagine the excitement? The eager anticipation?
Ah, yes, I see a few of you nodding. But wait - his story is not yet over. He hears the low growl of those monsters run by the man-flesh, running footsteps. He does not panic, does not turn, because what danger is there for him there? The humans are his friends - is that not the mantra propagated by the Decus Pack?
And then ropes are thrown over him, a mesh falling into his eyes, obscuring his vision. He barks, shocked, struggling to escape, but agony blooms in his side. The humans kick at him, snarling words he cannot begin to comprehend in their guttural tongue. He begins to fear. Instinct takes over - he growls, snaps, bites.
And can any of us fault him for that?
He is placed into the van, brought into the... Pound... and is never seen again. But all he wanted was to visit his family.
Imagine this, my brethren! Imagine this and sorrow, let your voices cry out our discontent tonight, as we lament to Mother Moon! How many of our friends have endured this fate? How many more will?
But this is not all! Not only are the humans against us, but our fellow canines are too! Yes, I see you nodding your heads - the Decus, those that protect the humans! Have they no shame? Look at what they have been turned into - lapdogs, slaves, sniveling and cowering at the feet of the humans they claim to want to protect! Leash-lickers, cowards, the lot of them!
We shall have our vengeance! Justice shall be upheld, my friends, and all shall pay for their crimes! The humans will be shown their rightful place in this world - beneath our paws, to be seen as nothing else but prey!
The day is coming, my fellow canines, where we will run free and wild, just as our ancestors did in the past! No fetters to stop them, no leash and collar to bind them - they were truly free! So join me, join us!
I promise you this: Join our Pack, become one of our own, and soon, all you wish for will be fulfilled. You, my friends, will one day hold the entire city in your paws, with the humans and the other witless cowards set in their rightful place. We shall show no mercy, we shall cut down everything in our path! You will never know cold and hunger again. Come, warm yourselves with the loyalty to your Pack, feast upon our shared kill. With my vision, along with your courage, your loyalty, with the strength bourne of our conviction, fangs and claws, there is no other outcome but our triumph.
And we shall reign supreme!"

character name: Fell
age:2 years
breed: Spotted Hyena
personality:When fell has something that is important to do he will do almost anything to protect and achieve it. Being a hyena he is very loyal to those he calls "clan mates" and while he will never back stab them he doesn't have any sympathy for those not close to his heart. He will lie, cheat, steal, and possibly maim others if he feels it is needed to survive. He gives off a violent appearance as not to be taken advantage of but when he's in a good mood or with his clan he can be the most gentle and caring. He has this submissiveness towards females and holds them above all else, you disrespect them and he may try to snap your neck. He has no tolerance for inner clan violence and feels that the clan should be close as the fur on your body, even if you hate everyone else to love your own. If there is a problem it should be spoken out or the ones causing problems will have to be removed. can be very deceptive and cunning seeming that he can make a plan for almost any situation he finds himself in, not only will he fool others but he will make sure that even if he appears to be "done" with this pack that he will never really leave. He is skilled with words and can dissolve a problem as well as rally others.
audition post(170+words): A cackle echoed though the forest as the hyena located his prey. The young doe stared back with wide eyes as it was separated from it's herd and cornered. A snarl escaped fell and then he pounced.
Back in the den the others had began to eat and a small scrap had started regarding the order in which they would eat. One wolf was saying that he should go first since he out ranked the other, and the other didn't care. The two were ready to go for each other any moment. Seeing this Fell casually padded over and yiped at both of them to gain there attention. "Guys, guys calm down" he began in a calm and controlled voice. "We're all family here surely we can work this out" he purred then paused listening to the others rebuttal before continuing "If you both want to eat at the same time why don't you, take one part" he said to the higher ranked male "and you take the another part" he told the other "Both of you can get your fill and not worry about waiting" with that he looked up at the rest of the clan who had tuned into the problem at hand. "Surely we are not so shallow as to allow something like food to tear apart our bonds" he mused "If we are then you will be providing those flat faces (humans) a reason to criticize and demoralize us the way they do. We are better than them, we are stronger than them, we are more loyal. They are the ones who argue over petty things and off one another, they are the ture animals. And one day we will show them how awful and despicable they are, but first we have to start with ourselves. Be better than the urges to rip each other's throats out the way they so rudely accused us to have, to prove that we respect each other and our family. Then and only then will we be able to enforce it. So please when we have a problem let's not threaten each other with fangs and claws but talk it over and resolve it like the civilized beings we know we are"
With that he waited for the two to agree before going back to his meal, as he was eating he was joined by the higher ranking wolf with the lower one by his side. This was the beginning of putting aside ranks and eating together like a true family should, and it made Fell very glad.
What will they bring to the pack?: He will teach others a loyalty that only hyenas know, one that is way stronger than that of a pack. He will also help others avoid inter-clan casualties and have everyone hold in there bristling hate for the humans and whoever protects them. He will talk their way out of situations they can't fight physically and hopefully be able to achieve there goal and not have others lash out at each other if they do fail but to be persistent and keep trying.
