When her paws touched the concrete of the sidewalk, the wolf growled inwardly. She was an Alpha, why the hell was she out on these streets. Most would ask the question, or the humans would scream and shout and get her chased with weapons and experiments. But, today, she was simply out for a 'stroll' you could put it as. She wanted to get an eye out for a place she had never been to before, possibly meet some new canines and work her magic of recruiting them into her pack. It really needed to grow, her and four other canines could not make it up for long if she were to try and take on Iusitia and the other city packs. She needed to grow and improve.
As she weaved her way past the giant fountain that spouted water, she caught the eye of a little, male, human pup. He ran up and she froze, instantly raising her teeth. Of course, she wouldn't hurt him. But, you wouldn't his parents know the difference between a dog and a wolf? Obviously not as the little boy ran up and began pulling and playing with her fur. Since growling hadn't worked, the Alpha stood there fur bristled, teeth bared, and pride fading. She wouldn't snap at him, she was neutral to the city dog war, but she still couldn't find it in her heart to hurt pups. A adult human - sure she would nip them until they went away. But, a pup, well, that was just cruel.
The Alpha was many things, but cruel wasn't one of them. Instead she let him enjoy her russet/red toned fur before he waltzed off with a huge smile plastered against his face. The wolf let out an annoyed laugh, though as a motherly figure, it somehow warmed her heart to see the pup smile. Flicking her ears, she carried on her way. Her pride obvious. Tail and head raised as she trotted confidently around the square of the city.
"I'm talking"
I'm thinking
