As he watched from behind a parked boat with his nose wiggling and his stomach growling, Alois had set his mind up on what he wanted to eat;fish. There was an old man just ahead with two nets, each tied with dead fish inside and the dog had made up his mind that the man can do with just one net full. It was only until the human had his back turned to Alois did the large dog bolt forward, tail tucked as he ran across the wooden floor that kept him from falling into the water as he quickly snatched up the net, making sure not to rip it as he headed back the way he came, listening as the man let out some yells yet made no attempt to follow the male. "Damn dog!" The human wailed, throwing some rocks at the retreating figure of grey but Alois's mind was else where. With luck on his side, Alois had what looked like dinner!
Underneath the docks was where Alois had set himself up;he had to share it with some other canines before but as the humans began to grow aware that there was thieves around such as the group of dogs and began to watch their catches more closely, well, those room mates of his hauled themselves somewhere else but Alois fancied this area more then anything and refused to give it up. Ripping open the net hungrily, Alois simply dug into his prize, munching on fish after fish. (This suck so freaking bad. I am so sorry D:)

XENA
The little pup felt tiny walking on such a big deck-like surface. There were plenty of people around her, carrying nets of fish or ties that they were using to bring up the boats. As she watched the life around her, the chestnut colored canine weaved through the barrels that kept her hidden from the other canine she had been following - a gray, domesticated dog breed. She wasn't much of the stalking type, but she was a long way from the pack right now, and the most interesting thing she had seen since then was this dog, so she was going to follow him.
Her ears twitched as he seemed to be stalking a target of his own. The Dhole moved herself behind a barrel, only her rounded ears sticking out as she watched him, being sure to stay out of his way and out of his line of sight. As she followed his gaze, she noticed he was watching one of the humans who appeared to have nets and nets full of fish. Clever dog. Her mind commented and she pinned her ears back just a little bit. Suddenly, the human turned his back and the dog flew forward, racing as fast as he could - only to snatch a net of fish and bolt away. The human barked a bit, but soon, lost interest in the male.
The pup was quite fascinated by the behavior of the dog. When he made his way under the dock, she followed, making sure to leave quite enough space between them, but the male was so caught up in whatever he was doing, he didn't even notice her. When he settled down to eat, was when the chestnut-furred canine popped her head into his vision, a playful grin tossed onto her face. "Nice catch!" She whistled. Her breed was known for that. They didn't bark, they didn't whine, but they whistled. It was just the sound they made. Her rounded ears swiveled as she sat about 7 tail lengths from the male, giving him the personal space he probably wanted - though the Dhole was a hell of a lot smaller, he could probably kill her in one sitting.

He ate slowly, at first;to savor the catch he had gotten oh so cleverly. He had eaten in a day, which was a new record for the male;he usually was able to find food in seconds but yesterday, Alois had been feeling a bit sourly and couldn't figure out a plan to get something edible so instead of eating, he fell asleep hungry. While having a smell of the sea and fish all in his nostrils, Alois hadn't even noticed that he had been followed and that the creature, his stalker, sat down just near him. It was only until her bright voice made herself known did Alois raise his head, eyes widening as immediately his tail tucked. But ah, his stalker was only a strange pup with auburn fur.
Glancing around, Alois felt the corners of his maw lift into a small smile as he glanced down at the small creature, wondering not only where she had come from but as of why she was here-talking to him. Slowly did he lift his hail to wag it, showing her that he was, well, friendly. "Yes, I suppose so." He answered her before Alois glanced down at the ripped net and where some fish lay there lifelessly. "Um, well...Would you like some?" (SORRY FOR THE WAIT! 404142 )

XENAAfter what felt like a horribly long moment, the male finally looked up at her. For a moment he looked nervous, and then he looked shocked. But, finally he calmed down just a bit and gave a light wag of his tail - offering that he wasn't going to bite her head off like most canines would try to do. Then again, Xena didn't worry about them 'biting her head off.' Her breed was unique. Small and slender, making her able to run quick and dodge easily, along with tiny, needle-sharp claws - where most canines are thick and dull - allowing her to climb up trees to avoid danger. No, she wasn't scared of anything.
Either way, she was a polite, young girl. She flicked her round tipped ears and gave her own tail a small wag as well as a bright smile to the male dog. Uh..Well, would you like some? He asked and the Dhole cocked her head, another ear twitching lightly as she thought about his offer. She wasn't much for fish, she preferred the voles and mice of the forest, much tastier. Sometimes even a rabbit if she's quick enough. But, either way, she decided one couldn't hurt. She hadn't had a meal in a while anyway. "Maybe just one." She barked with another light smile. However her movements toward the male were slow, steady, and very cautious. She loved to meet and greet and be all friendly from a distance, but within striking distance - well that was a little on the risky side. She was curious - but not looking to die any time soon. She had hardly had the chance to live.
Creeping forward, she latched her pointy teeth onto the tail of one of the fish and dragged it a little ways away from the male before sitting down. She used her thin claws to peel back the scales - no one liked those things ripping into the top of their mouths. "I'm Xena." She whistled lightly, her voice high with her young age. "I don't see why you're going for the fish. Don't get me wrong, your techniques are awesome. But, the meat from the forest is much better." She told the male with a friendly smirk and a curious tip of her head. Once the scales were off her little fish, she took a few bites, cringing at the tangy taste at first before settling into it. It was food anyhow, no use in letting herself go hungry because of a little sea-taste.+Hadley+ HexCode#129227
