Hi guys! Welcome to my plot thread! Feel free to reply with your own ideas or anything like that or PM me. I love a good plot and am open to any/all suggestions. If you want more information on any of my characters, visit my Character Logbook.
Elliot
Elliot is a ghost who has forgotten how and why he has died. He is haunted by the past he can't bring himself to remember. He enjoys telling and collecting stories, and has based his moral code on whatever will make a good story. He's a social chameleon, able to fit himself into any situation and is quite an actor. Even he doesn't really know who he is, but seeing as he has no past, as far as he's concerned, he's willing to become the sort of dog that is the protagonist of a good story: Engaging and likeable.
Friendship
Elliot is a pretty friendly guy. He finds social interaction easy, but any good friend of his should know and understand that he's terrorized in the night. The wind calls for him, the lights flicker on and off, and strange things just happen. He's a ghost and sometimes chooses not to disclose that bit of information, so a friend might be in for a rude awakening if they don't know he's dead. He loves stories: Listening to them or telling them. Some friends can try to help him discover his past if they want.
Romance
Elliot is a sweet and attentive lover. He enjoys any female who is willing to accept who he is, or, if he should find out more about himself, who he's not. He is definitely the sort of guy who goes for big shows of romance. Although he's now dead, he still hopes to raise puppies with a female.
Enemies
Despite how friendly and suave Elliot can seem now, he can have enemies. Most enemies probably come from his past. Though he can't remember, Elliot has wronged more dogs than he could even count. He was part sweet-talking con-artist and part assassin and part thief--all around a bad criminal. He simply ran in the wrong crowd: He got to do what he loved to do, in any case--tell stories.
Plots
Cinna -- Good friends
Cinna is a ghost in pretty much the same predicament as Elliot: She has forgotten her past and her past life isn't as sweet or innocent as she would think.
Freya
Freya was the human's foray into having a dog designed for reconnaissance rather than attack. Her design is to gather information, record it perfectly, and then share it with her human handlers. That was what was supposed to happen, in theory. Instead, she has trouble controlling her abilities and her spunk and humor made her less than perfect at her job. She is highly intelligent but socially awkward. She is well-trained in close combat and strategy, but hasn't had the chance to truly practice it in real-world situations. A perfect summary of her is that she is book-smart, but not street-smart.
Friendship
Freya does not lack the openness to have good friends. She's eager to have a friend and will probably over-share before it would be socially acceptable to do so. Any friend of hers would have to deal with her coarse social skills and naivete, but would get to enjoy her energy, spunk, and complete loyalty. She has the ability to share her memories with others because she's an experimental.
Romance
Freya is young still and hasn't had her first love yet. She will probably be an awkward lover, unused to the next steps and not knowing how to proceed. She is, however, completely devoted to whoever claims her heart.
Enemies
Freya's enemies would probably come from her alliance with the humans. Especially because they had abandoned her, yet she remains devoted. Enemies might also come from her lack of social etiquette.
Malachy
Malachy, or Mal as he prefers to be called, is a strange dog. He gives off the impression of being shy and polite. He tends to keep to himself. He does have a hobby of dissecting various creatures, including other dogs. And vivisecting is infinitely more fun if he can get an opportunity to indulge. There's just something interesting about the way a good body is put together. He enjoys pulling apart the body, seeing how it all fits, and putting it all back together again. It's very, very rare that something lives through his playtimes. He understands enough that his little hobby isn't the sort of thing you go sharing with others, and often feels shame for indulging. He tries to keep it hidden from others, especially since being labeled an exile.
Friendship
Mal is definitely a polite dog. He enjoys company, for the most part, but is shy and awkward with others. He doesn't understand how to connect because he's not willing to share himself as readily as other dogs. And understandably so. Most dogs wouldn't understand him and his interests. He isn't an easy dog to befriend, due to his guarded nature, but as long as he keeps his secret, most dogs get along fine with him. However, once dogs realize his little hobby, they either have to be the most understanding canines in the world or they have to be just as crazy as he is to remain friends.
Romance
Mal is a handsome dog, but he typically keeps himself from romancing others. His quiet, sweet nature tends to attract the sort of female who'd probably do poorly with his proclivities. He's a timid lover, afraid of putting himself out there because he knows he'll be hurt.
Enemies
Malachy's enemies are easy to come by. Basically, any dog that can't understand him has a rather visceral response to what he does from time to time. He can function a bit like a serial killer, so the family of his victims tend to hate him. And he can't bring himself to get along with the more intensely violent canines, as it is opposite his style and he finds such violence distasteful. Of course, his hypocrisy tends to upset other dogs as well.
