Sadie stared into the darkness. She hated darkness. She hated it. But she was stuck in it.
She had meant to take a shortcut, but it didn't turn out so simple. She went one way and after a while turned around. She tried to go back. She wanted out. Her wish wasn't granted.
After hours of walking in pitch black, she gave up. It had been hour after hour of her bumping into walls, and blindly walking. She was sure she'd die.
She sat down, and slid down into a lying position. She let out a loud bark. Then a loud howl. Then a loud whimper. She decided help wouldn't come. She closed her eyes, and fell asleep.

(I hope you don't mind me jumping in here and I'm sorry for the crappy post!)
Avery had found the chocolate coated dog cowering in the darkness, whimpering out for help that would never come;dogs usually didn't venture this far out into the tunnels except for Avery, but that was because she had nothing to fear;she was already dead. A ghost, really. With her dark eyelids narrowing over her sea green eyes, Avery strutted towards the female although it would be hard to see her;it was dark and her was no longer an image but more so a shadow. "Oh, shut up." Avery growled angrily only because the other female was making so much noise and it would surely attract unwanted attention. Although she couldn't really be seen, Avery was there, sitting beside the now sleeping female as she awaited her to wake up so Avery could tell the brown patch of fur to love her;yes, Avery was had an obsession with being loved but who could blame her? She died before she could have a lover and her own children! Frowning deeply, Avery stared down at the dog before a growl ripped through her body and crawled up her throat. "Wake up!"

Sadie jumped at the sudden sound. She scrambled up and slinked back growling. "Who's there?!" She barked. She didn't see anything. Then she thought she saw the darkness moving. Darkness moves?! "Is anyone here?" She asked as she shivered back. Was is one of those spirits who haunted dark places? She remembered tales of ghosts and spirits from when she was a pup, but she had put them aside as fiction. Were those stories true? Thoughts raced through her mind as she slowly backed off. Her fur was bristling. Her growling stopped, but she let out a small whine. She really was going to die!!!

As the lab bolted awake and began to growl as she recoiled, Avery's eyes widened at her nearly hostile behavior. The other female was acting as if she'd never seen a ghost before and perhaps she really never had. Rising to her feet, Avery lifted her tail and growled back, fangs snapping although she was sure it was silly of her to be doing so;the other dog would only see her if it were daytime where the sun would allow her to become an image where everyone around her would see a small hybrid wolf but as it was dark outside and inside the subway, Avery was nothing anymore;a voice, perhaps and a shadow but that was really all. With a small smirk, Avery closed in for the "kill". Clearing her throat, she began with her flirty tone of voice, giggling some more. "What? Afraid of me?" Moving in closer, she murmured into the chocolate lab's ear with yet another giggle. "Well, you should be."

Sadie stood as tall as she could, though she was shivering on the inside. She barked out "Who are you!?" As she backed away. Her tail was in between her legs as she slowly walked backwards. She didn't see anything. "What are you, Where are you!?" She whined. She wondered who this spirit dog was, and if it was friendly. Friendly? She didn't think so. It sounded scary! She let out a small bark, a yip really. She cowered into the darkness, and began to turn around to run. But she did it slowly, she didn't want a spirit chasing her!!!
